She is renowned for being a legal whisperer, blending a unique high level of professionalism with personal sensitivity.   She is also an award-winning entrepreneur, best-selling author, and contributor to the Australian creative and women’s community with her ongoing pro bono work for Actors Benevolent Fund and Surfing Mums.

When did you start your business?

I started my business in 2019.

What was the inspiration behind starting this business?

The Mumpreneur Lawyer was inspired by the many women I came across that who were unable to find quality, affordable legal expertise and the many women who experienced lawyers who were unable to translate complex legal issues into understandable form. It was also inspired by the women who have had to go through their own expensive, and emotionally draining legal battles in courts.   I knew if I could provide simple, affordable, flexible legal solutions for women at the startup stage, they would be empowered for the future success of their businesses.

What are you most excited about in your business?

I absolutely love talking with women who have vision. Seeing their ideas come to life in the way of a new startup is invigorating.

What has been the most challenging thing about starting your business?

It has been the biggest, and quickest learning journey I have ever been on.

What advice would you give to other women thinking about starting a business?

Stop procrastinating and don’t wait to start; value yourself and your time.

Listen to learn what your potential customers and clients want, and keep listening.

Ensure you have expert advisors onboard, then take some calculated risks and start having fun!

What do you believe is the secret to success?

Defining success on your own terms, and constantly redefining it. My version of success is living a fulfilled, meaningful, wholehearted life… money is great, but only when you can earn it by sticking to your values.

What’s happening next in your business?

An online course is coming out later this year to assist Mum startups with some basic legal knowledge.

What are your big plans for the future?

I’d love your help with this one!! Still creating my own vision.
